DreamSail does not currently use advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies. This page explains the limited browser storage used by the site and what will happen if optional services are added.
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Websites can also use similar technologies such as local storage. UK privacy rules apply to storing or accessing information on a user's device, subject to exemptions for limited purposes.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dreamsail_cookie_info | Local storage | Remembers that you dismissed the small cookie-information notice so it does not repeatedly cover the site. | Up to 6 months, then the notice may be shown again; clearing browser storage removes it sooner. |
This preference storage is not used to build a profile, measure advertising or identify you across websites.
DreamSail currently loads its display and body fonts from Google Fonts. This is a network request rather than an advertising cookie set by DreamSail, but Google may receive standard technical request data such as your IP address and browser information when the font files are requested. If the site's font delivery method changes, this notice will be updated.
The web host, network or security layer may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver pages securely, balance traffic or prevent abuse. If a specific storage item becomes part of the normal DreamSail visitor experience, we will add it to this notice.
DreamSail may later add analytics, embedded media, live chat, advertising tools or third-party yacht-search/booking widgets. Before enabling them, we will assess whether they store or access information on your device and whether consent or an opt-out is required under the rules then in force.
Non-essential tracking will not be switched on merely because a visitor continues browsing. Where consent is required, the site will request it before the relevant technology is used and will provide a way to change the choice.
You can delete cookies and local storage using your browser settings. Doing so may make the DreamSail information notice appear again. Browser controls may also allow you to block third-party requests, although doing so can affect fonts or future embedded functionality.
Questions about cookies, browser storage or privacy can be sent to info@dreamsail.co.uk. For wider data-protection information, read our Privacy notice.
